Cooler Master N520 CPU Fan

This thing is really amazing. It lowered my temperatures by 20° C. It allowed me to overclock my Phenom II X4 a very considerable amount, about .5ghz actually. It just barely had clearance of a side fan. I found the instructions very easy to understand, quite possibly easier than AMD's stock cooler installation guide. Well, it's not hard to install, just time-consuming. My case had a problem where when I lifted up the motherboard tray to reinsert it into my case, it would collide with my power supply. So I had to take apart my entire computer to install it. Also, some cabling of surrounding fans caught in the intake fan, but that was fixed by putting the cables around the Memory. It worked very well. This thing allows you to overclock fairly well, and if you're not an overclocker, well, it keeps your system really cool. It was a little hard to get in, but it was well worth the effort. I'm a newcomer to PC building, but quite honestly I didn't find the backplate stuff hard to do. I didn't buy it at Newegg (Sorry!) because my local computer store had it for $5 cheaper. I also got a discount buying it with Arctic Silver 5 though...
