D-link DIR-615 Wireless Router

I first bought this router because it was the cheapest N-draft router but I have been pleasantly surprised. I replaced a Linksys G router (WRT54GL) which I had to reboot all the time. My last two routers were Linksys and although I loved it at first, I was ready for something new. Being a Technical Engineer myself, I'm always sceptical of new devices but I was willing to try it out. Surprisingly easy to set up, how ever, there is some odd behaviour you should be aware of. As long as you know that upgrading the firmware will wipe out all your settings, you're good to go. Basically, when you make a change, you should always get a current backup of it's configuration otherwise the next time you upgrade it, you have to start from scratch. Other than that, I'd recommend it to any one. It's also the best interface for setting up rules and routing. I've set up a lot of routers in my day, and this was by far the easiest to do. You can choose from a drop down list which application your trying to create a rule for, and then choose which machine (or all) that you want it to apply to. All your devices are also available from a drop down list so you don't have to worry about getting each device's IP if you don't know it.
