This laptop is one of the less expensive options from Dell and for good reason. I thought it would be a good option for a student laptop, but it is too easily bogged down by simple processes, and a tech-savvy pre-teen will not be satisfied by the speed of this model after only a few weeks of using it. Another con is the VERY sensitive mouse pad. It is so sensitive that the mouse will eratically move while you're trying to type due to the shadows of your hands. The only person I would recommend this laptop to is an older person who is not that familar with technology looking for a cheap laptop for basic programs.
