My municipality is near a town of around 80,000 with a Best Buy and an Office Depot. Most of our office supply and equipment needs can be met by these two retailers, but they didn't have anything I would consider a workgroup scanner, so I hit the Web.

I was very pleased with CTI. CTI had the lowest price on dealtime.com for a new Xerox 252 scanner. Since I work for our City Government, I noticed CTI has a GSA (Government Services Account) logo on their site, which helps me justify the selection of CTI as a vendor to my Finance Department.

CTI's site is easy to navigate and the layout of the Workgroup Scanners page was very helpful in evaluating the relevant information about each scanner -- the brand, shipping cost, whether in stock or not, the price.

The customer service representative accepted our municipality's purchase order (just faxed the P.O. with the name of our A/P contact) and CTI shipped the scanner overnight via FedEx. The scanner arrived as expected the next morning.

The scanner is operating flawlessly and based on my experience, our Police Department has decided to purchase a similar machine for scanning and distributing police reports.

CTI did everything associated with this transaction very well. Thanks for a great online experience.
