I placed an order on the 6th of Dec. at PhotoAlley. I placed the order online at their website, but used google checkout because they were offering so much off if you placed the order through them. The next day I received an e-mail stating that my order was shipped and to be expecting it soon. Yesterday (11th) I received another e-mail from PhotoAlley stating that they'd not forgotten me and that my order would ship as soon as it was received from the manufacturer. I called this morning and talked to someone (who is not an expert with the English language) and he informed me that the first email was from google and not them, which I knew. Then he drops the bomb that the products were no longer available. I asked when they were going to be kind enough to let me know that, and that they had already taken the money from my bank acct. He informed me that they had not, that the money had only been "authorized" from my bank. I suggested to him that I did know what I was talking about, and that the order total had already cleared my checking account. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said there was none available (why doesn't that surprise me?). He said it would probably be around 2 hours before any supervisors were in that could talk to me. So, here I am - they have my money, and I have no order. Would I ever use PhotoAlley.com again -- not in this lifetime.
