Poor Customer service at Ebags.com
Full review I shop online on a regular basis and have had pretty good luck in the past. I always look for sites who have good customer service ratings and a liberal return policy (just in case). This is the first time I have bought any sort of luggage or travel case, however, just because it is hard to imagine the dimensions! I have spent a lot of time recently, researching North Face daypack/backpacks in hopes of finding a functional backpack which will double as a laptop case for travel. I finally found just what I was looking for on Ebags.com; The North Face Surge Daypack. It has a dedicated laptop compartment as well as a large main compartment, an organizer compartment and a padded bottom power cord pocket! Unfortunately, shortly after placing my order with ebags.com, I found the same backpack for almost $40 cheaper (including Free 2 day air shipping, instead of regular ground, which takes a week) at TravelCountry.com. I contacted EBags.com to request that they honor their guaranteed 110% price match policy. After waiting for over 20 minutes on the phone, I was informed that ebags.com was unable/unwilling to match the competitors price! Needless to say, I cancelled my order with them and bought my backpack from Travelcountry.com instead! |
