Simple, fast and accurate

On-line selection is outstanding, but I question if it accurately indicates inventory (I bought the "last" bisque Bosch dishwasher, but it still shows on the web after two weeks). Had some trouble with their on-line ordering system, but calling their 800 number was a pleasure (polite, helpful, clear). Order was delivered very fast (less than a week) with no problems.

Web site was very good, good selection and prices of items of interest. After order was placed, no information as to what was happening for much too long, then an e-mail that item woould not be available for a period of time. Part of the reason for the sale was that I understood it was "in stock" I never order unless the site says "in stock" Item was not "in stock". Still waiting for confirmation requested that item has been canceled so I can find a replacement. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

My order was placed on April 9, today is April 29, I made a phone call on April 27, about my order because I had not recieved it yet,the nice lady told me that the order was filled but was not shipped for some unknown reason, she assured me that she would send it right away and that I could expect it in three days, so I should recieve it tomarrow.

While their price was okay, Witbeck runs a very questionable operation. I ordered a new, expensive microwave oven ($700), but got an obviously, open box item. While acknowledging the problem, Sean Witbeck continually promised to make up for his companies bad faith advertising, but it took 6 months, numerous calls and emails, and finally a letter from my attorney to get his company to settle my dispute. I'm not sure if he is a crook or just a bad manager, but I will never deal with Witbeck again

I was looking for a Bosch B30 espresso machine, and they showed a price of $1149 on Epinions, the best of the listed merchants, but when you click the Buy It at Witbeck button, you are taken to a page showing $1299, a price difference of $150.

Assuming this is deliberate (I'm sure they would say not, as they certainly couldn't admit doing it on purpose, but judge for yourself...) this is very deceptive marketing and indicative of a less than honest approach to customer service - this company cannot be trusted. Never patronize merchants who advertise a low price to get you into the store and then change it once you're there.

Horrible experience! NEVER buy from Witbeck!

Delivery was two weeks late, item damaged. Witbeck made it almost impossible for us to return the item and to get our money back. We had to call them a few times each day for two or three weeks, and would not be able to get them to do anything substantial. Completely sick and tired of calling them, we eventually have to ship the item by ourselves to the factory to get it repaired. The factory, FiveStar, was so gracious as to repair it for us for free. Witbeck simply took our money and ran. They do not care a bit once we paid them. We will NEVER shop at Witbeck in our lifetime!

Bought GE cooktop and Bosch vent. Placed order by phone since website (for unknown reason) didn't show color I wanted. Phone salespeople were helpful. A little weak on follow-up -- they didn't email a confirmation, and I had to call again to request order conf and shipping schedule. But they did deliver before their estimated date. Overall pleased with price and performance.

Excellent shopping experience

I purchased a Miele Touchtronic Ultra Dishwasher online. It was delivered in a timely fashion as Witbeck had stated it would be. The dishwasher had been slightly dented in an inconspicuous area on the side during shipping and Witbeck quickly offered to lower the price in lieu of returning the unit and waiting for a replacement. I am very happy with my Miele dishwasher and the service I received from Witbeck.

The ordering went very smooth. Their website is pretty well set up and easy to use. They had the best price I could find online and free delivery, which along with paying no salestax made for a very nice final price.

It shipped very quickly and I received it in excellent time. Of course I'm pleased though that it did not rain, since my $1200 stovetop was left on my porch leaning against the front door for me to find several hours later -- I suppose I would have seen a true test of Witbeck's customer service if it had not been such a sunny day.

Everything Very Good but poor delivery time

The produce, order accuracy and customer service were very good, but the delivery time frame was not good at all, I was told when I placed my order that it would take 2-4 weeks and it toke about 9 weeks. I had just moved into a new house and didn't have a refrigerator, so this was very hard on my family. Would I buy from this company again YES I would the price was very good.

My shopping experience with Witbeck was GREAT!!

They where on top of things and very helpful. Customer service was good also. Someone was there to answer my call unless it was not business hours. We were building a new house, and they held my appliances for about 2 months for me. They kept in contact via e-mail and phone with me and let me know that the microwave was on back order. Matt and Jen were very very helpful in answering questions and making sure everything went great! They let me know that it would take 2 to 3 weeks for delivery of appliances. I actually had my appliances delivered in three separate shipments. AND GUESS WHAT NO SHIPPING CHARGES!! The GE monogram series was a lot cheaper there than anywhere locally in Louisiana. I would recommend them to anyone and would surely shop there again.

I ordered a Thermador smoothtop cooktop, which was very well packaged and is now a joy to use. It was delivered in three weeks. I received an Email confirmation of the order right away, but was concerned about the delay in shipping (although it arrived quickly after it was shipped). One negative (in addition to the delay in shipping) was that after it was shipped, I received an invoice by mail that identified it as a special order, and as such would require a 25% restocking fee if returned. The item is not identified as a special order on the website. The installation instructions were lacking some crucial information (size of cutout, etc.), but I was able to get that information elsewhere. This, of course, is an omission by the manufacturer, not Witbeck. The package was left on our porch, without even a doorbell ringing, which is unusual.
