Sub-A uses two identical solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors. Positive and negative conductors must be identical for minimum distorton. A 100% coverage shield insures noise-free performance. Strand interaction is the greatest single source of cable distortion; Sub-A’s solid conductors eliminate this problem. The simpler grain structure and fewer impurities within LGC copper significantly reduce distortion compared to normal high-purity copper. Gold-plated high-conductivity brass plugs are attached with specially formulated AQ Solder.
