To support a variety of applications, bandwidth, and price/performance, the Cisco 7200 series routers offer a choice of four input/output (I/O) controllers. In addition to the base functionality of all the Cisco 7200 series I/O controllers, the Cisco 7200 series I/O controllers provide additional functionality. The C7200-I/O-GE+E provides a Gigabit Ethernet port and a 10 BaseT Ethernet port, as well as an additional 4MB of Flash memory.??The Gigabit Ethernet port on the C7200-I/O-GE+E is an industry standard GBIC. 802.1q virtual LAN (VLAN) and Inter-Switch Link (ISL) support are provided as software selectable features. The second Ethernet port on the C7200-I/O-GE+E is a 10 BaseT Ethernet port. 802.1q VLAN support is also available on this port.
