IBM continues to enhance its Ethernet adapter offerings by introducing the PRO/1000T Desktop Adapters by Intel. Now PCs can get high-speed bandwidth to the desktop for bandwidth intensive desktop applications including streaming video, graphics multimedia, engineering design and simulation, scientific modeling and forecasting. The new adapters offer auto speed configuration to 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps over industry standard Category 5 copper cabling.
