Pros: Great Drive, fast, solid, quiet, plays all formats I have even Apple DVDs.
Cons: A little expensive and there is a better Aopen 1640 SLOT loading version.
The Bottom Line: The BEST dvd and cd drive I have ever owned or tested. A real surprise for me.

Pros: Easy to install if you know how to use a screwdriver

Pros: Cheap and very fast
Cons: Loud, region-code locked
The Bottom Line: The DVP1640A is a very fast and reliable drive, but its high noise level and locked region code may bother some users.
