Terrible Design Flaw

Pros: Good clarity so far, for the short time I was able to use them.
Cons: Charger design is faulty; Aliph customer service is horrible.

The bottom line: Faulty charger design. If it is changed, then I'll buy another, but only then.

OK...as a Post Script to my previous review:

When I returned the first Jawbone to Verizon, where I bought it, I didn't have the Jawbone box. I was given a new Jawbone in the box, no problem! No one told me I had to keep the box.

Yesterday, I went to Verizon to return the second Jawbone since it, too, got stuck in the charger. I was fed-up with Jawbone and wanted to exchange it for another brand. Well, seems Verizon can't exchange the Jawbone for another brand, unless it's returned in it's original box, including all the original accessories that came with it. I didn't have the box. Aliph, the company that makes the Jawbone, is who dictates this policy. The Verizon representative said she can give me a new Jawbone, but they can't give it to me in a box, since I didn't return it in it's box; and since I didn't have the box, I can't exchange it for another brand, so I'm stuck. Which means if I have still another problem with the new (third) Jawbone, I can exchange it for another new Jawbone, but I can't get it in a box, so, again, I can't exchange it for another brand. So, this puts me in a round robin of exchanges...no box...new Jawbone without a box.....and so on...and so on....ad nauseum.

Now, at that point, my argument escalated to the Verizon store manager, who, with a deer-in-the-headlights look on his face, gave me no satisfaction, either. He just parroted the same policy the Aliph people dictate...no box...no exchange for another brand of Bluetooth; they can only give me another Jawbone without the box....small minds make small decisions.

So, I now have my third Jawbone without a box. All they gave me was the charger and the Jawbone; nothing else. If the charger gets stuck on the ear piece a third time, I'm chucking it, and I'll buy another kind of Bluetooth. Jawbone isn't worth all this trouble.

The Aliph company that makes Jawbone has lots to learn about customer service. And right now, I'm not too crazy about Verizon, and I've been a long-standing customer of theirs and I've bought lots of their cell phones.

So, my advice to you, if you bought a Jawbone is: KEEP THE BOX!

It had good reception and clarity for the short time I was able to use the two I had so far, but I haven't used either for very long before they both got stuck in their chargers.
