Pros: Fast, slim, terrific keyboard and all the modern Apple features
Cons: glossy screen has a lot of reflection, looks cheaper than the black
The Bottom Line: The best bang for your laptop buck, PERIOD. The iBook is completely forgotten.

Pros: light-weight, no viruses, good battery life, able to run Windows
Cons: Safari quits, lack of good word-processing application out of the box.
The Bottom Line: There are Windows, Linux, and other users. But Macs get the best of ALL worlds. Plus it has that sweet "aqua" interface.

Pros: Virus free, Magnetic power cord, Garage Band, iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD, can watch movies, comfortable keyboard.
Cons: Must purchase programs for document prep (ie. Pages or Microsoft Office for Mac $$$).
The Bottom Line: We will never own a PC again. We have wholeheartedly converted to Macintosh and highly recommend it over every other system out there.

Pros: small, thin, relatively lightweight, fast startup and computing, tight resolution, battery life, screen brightness
Cons: integrated graphics. all plugs on left (it awkward dude), Glare in some places
The Bottom Line: This computer is good bang for its buck. If you look at similarly-priced pc laptops, you'll see this one is just as fast/feature-laden. Truth.

Pros: OSX rocks, especually when it's on a laptop.
Cons: 512mb of ram defeats the purpose of dual core processing.
The Bottom Line: Please! Do yourself a favor and get the better valued 2gz model that has 1gb ram preinstalled, 20 more gig HD, and faster disc drive.
