Pros: Easy-to-learn menus and settings; quiet operation; capable of recording up to 60 minutes of video
Cons: Sorta' slow regen time between flash shots
The Bottom Line: For the price, this is a very good choice that will serve well, and won't overwhelm, a snapshot-happy soccer mom, and won't disappoint a fairly knowledgeable photographer

Pros: Light-weight, uses AA batteries (easily replaced), face-recognition capability

Pros: Many great features in a small digital camera you can take anywhere. Highly recommended!
Cons: Recovery time between photos (especially with flash) can get annoying.

Pros: Light/pocketable high quality all purpose compact digital camera. Minor improvements over A710is

Pros: A little smaller (2 AA's), Bigger screen, more resolution
Cons: Long write to card time

Pros: Whether on the auto or manual settings, produces quality photos.
Cons: Flash recycle speed slightly slow, flash output in dimly lit rooms is weak.
The Bottom Line: The Canon A720IS is for the serious photographer, the novice experimenting in taking artistic photos, or for fans of pointing & shooting; It has several options to accommodate everyone.

Pros: 8 megapixel clear sharp pictures
Cons: slow flash reaction time, card and batteries in same door.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this for the average user.
