Pros: 4000 dpi, simple, APS adapter included, SCSI & USB, priced like 2900 dpi.
Cons: Slow, especially with hi-res scans, dust and scratch removal doesn't work with all films.
The Bottom Line: If you've been waiting for an affordable quality solution to your film scanning needs, your wait is over. This scanner rocks!

Pros: Unbeatable resolution and dynamic range for this price; batch scanning; manual focus adjust; speed
Cons: None for this price bracket
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended if you plan to use SCSI- stay away if you are dead set on USB.

Pros: Outstanding color and resolution, Software loaded with features
Cons: Very slow scanning rate, Inconvenient film holder for 35mm slides or negatives
The Bottom Line: If you need an affordable high resolution film scanner, this could be it. However, it is not among the best scanner out there in terms of operation and convenience.

Pros: High quality output.
Cons: Be prepared to read a book between scans
The Bottom Line: I think this is a fine scanner and would recommend it if you are looking for high resolutions at a reasonable cost.
