The Bottom Line: It's a great camera for those who are on a tight budget and still want a decent camera.

Pros: good inexpensive camcorder, Canon's great support and help line.
Cons: A few less features then other Canon camcorders, small battery, no analog converter
The Bottom Line: The ZR850 is a terrific option for budget buyers or families. For under $300 an affordable purchase for most.

Pros: Decent video and audio quality, ease of use.
Cons: Annoying motor noise, absence of needed accessories, poor low light performance.
The Bottom Line: Be patient and save your money, look into one of the more expensive models/brands. It will be worth it to you in the long run.

Pros: Ease of use, light weight, nice shooting options, affordable.
Cons: Low light performance.
The Bottom Line: If you want an easy-to-use entry-level camcorder that won't break the bank and you don't mind poor low-light image quality, go for it.
