We were recently involved in a car accident. THIS CAR SEAT SAVED OUR, 13 month old, SON FROM ANY INJURIES while our 14 yr old daughter seated next to him was not so lucky! With the initial purchase of this car seat, we went to our local fire department for assistance on correctly positioning the car seat in our Town and Country van with second row captain seats. It was worth the 1Hr it took for them to install it. It did require us to use a summer time noodle, (large) wrapped in a towel, for the rear positioning. PLEASE KEEP SAFETY A PRIORITY WHEN SELECTING A CAR SEAT!!!!! We give this one 5 stars!!!! After the accident, we needed to replace the car seat, even though there was not any damage seen by the naked eye. The cost has gone up since we made our original purchase but insurance gave us a check to replace it. Selecting a different car seat was not an option. We learned first hand, you get what you pay for. To make it clear, we purchased the Cosco Alpha Omega Elite 3 in 1 car seat in smoke color. The manufacturers date was 08/07.

Contact your local fire department for correct installation of any car seat you are using. It could save your child(s) life.
