Pros: Addictive, fun, (mostly) nice, helpful people online.
Cons: Expensive, Time Suck(game term - means you will play it for many hours)
The Bottom Line: Great for anyone who enjoys Everquest, or other MMORPG's, and a must try for anyone who loves the Final Fantasy titles.

Pros: beautiful graphics/music, very social, huge world, tons of things to do, years of gameplay
Cons: monotonous sometimes, time consuming, addicting, can't quit suddenly because of parties, hard to get gil
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you like MMORPGs, free-form playing, and games you can play with your friends. If you like structured plots and permanent endings, don't bother with it.

Pros: Easy to learn, huge world, many people online, fun, involving, change classes any time.
Cons: Addicting, fit around real life, only for RPG enthusiasts
The Bottom Line: Buy only if you are interested in RPGs and if you have a lot of time to play video games.

Pros: Massive game world with tons of gameplay options.
Cons: The game is almost too massive and there need to be more character models.
The Bottom Line: Hardcore MMORPG fans will definitely want to play this. Casual gamers may want to wait for a more traditional Final Fantasy instead.

Pros: A fun MMO, who'da thunk it, numerous add-ons and updates already
Cons: Registering the game requires a degree in advanced fart physics
The Bottom Line: All these FFXI PC reviews here...tsk tsk.

Pros: addicting, fun, making friends, time waster
Cons: addicting, time waster
The Bottom Line: If you're going to buy an MMORPG, get FFXI, it's worth the money, whether you get it on PS2 or PC.

Pros: Great animations and gameplay seems good so far; can play online with many other characters.
Cons: Installation process is odious; monthly fee is a bit high.
The Bottom Line: Horrible installation process.. Price was a bit high, but monthly fee is the worst part. Gameplay seems good so far. Verdict still out on storyline and fun factor.

Pros: Highly social game, nice graphics, job system.
Cons: Forces you to party, moneymaking, repeated character and enemy models, extremely expensive (PS2).
The Bottom Line: A decent MMORPG in the vein of previous FFs. The resemblance is there but make no mistake, this isn't a perfect game and takes some getting used to.

Pros: Decent graphics and overall good music..
Cons: $13 monthly fee? No storyline? and can you say... BORING?
The Bottom Line: The game is simply flat-out slow and boring. Certainly not worth $50 $13 /month
