Perfect for travel and as a second carseat

Pros: Great protection and safety in a lightweight package, durable and easy to clean.
Cons: Straps are annoying when they won't tighten

The bottom line: Great option especially if you're looking for a second / backup / travel carseat.

Very lightweight, easy to latch in to a car or strap into an airline seat. Grows with the child -- we purchased this when my daughter was 18 months old, and she will be using it for many years to come (it will soon be her primary carseat as her Britax will be used in the rear-facing position for our two-month-old when he outgrows his infant carrier). Lots of padded cushioning in the bottom area, and contains EPS "wings" around the head for extra protection.

I travel frequently with both children and use this carseat on the airplane. It is lightweight and fits easily into a carseat travel bag. It fits through the x-ray at security. It's easy to carry and installs / de-installs quickly in an airplane seat.

It also cleans up extremely well. My daughter got VERY carsick on a recent trip. The fabric cover wiped clean very easily and Febreeze knocked out the odor. It was far easier than I had dared to hope.

One con: the straps are difficult to tighten when it's latched into a car. I think that when the carseat is installed properly and tightly, it pushes up so tightly against the car's seat back that the straps don't move freely. As a solution, we leave the straps at the appropriate length and then push and pull a little bit more to get the buckles to meet.
