Pros: New Weapons, Boats, Helicopters.
Cons: Not much as a mockup of GTA3 with less new features.
The bottom line: Avoid It, Leave it on store selves, Go get other games such as GTA: San Andreas and FarCry.
Here are one of the many reasons I don't like Vice City. Hell, I'll tell you all the reasons.


GRAPHICS

The graphics are average for a PS2 game, I know It's an old game, But they could of added reflections and bumpmapping to the game. Even the PC version looks better. Pass...

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay is the same in GTA3 you have your person, You can jack cars and shoot weapons, but theirs no crosshair, You have to find the lock on button and shoot him, Not run in circles trying to figure out how to shoot, But you can move into appartments, and fly helicopters, Just mere additions.

WEAPONS & ITEMS

You have a wide vairaty of gun weapons and melee weapons, one addition is the chainsaw where you can cut your enemies up, But It's useless, You also get some similar weapons from the GTA series and some new ones. I don't know if there are Items, But there are no Items.

MAPS

The Maps are massive and huge, Even the load times are long, and it can take even shorter to load up the other half of the city, Why, I don't know. but you can cheat your way into the other half and see what's there. The maps are massivly detailed and heavily armed, I give credit for that.

MUSIC

The Music is greatly composed, and greatly done, You got Spanish, some talk stations some rock stations, R&B stations and techno stations, Most of the music I don't even want to listen to.

SOUNDS

The sounds are greatly done to perfection to the weapons sound to the car sounds to the voices of the people, The sounds are recorded and done to perfection. The motorcycle sounds good and the chainsaws are done to perfection.

VECHICLES

The vechicles all have diffrent handeling and speeds, and their all fun to drive, Police Cars, Firetrucks, & Ambulances have missions that you can complete to earn money, There are even motorcycles you can drive, and you can even fly a helicopter in the game and you can drive boats, Nicely done Rockstar.

FINAL VERDICT

Overall, This is nothing more than a GTA3 mockoff that Rockstar made, There is not enough that can make me play or make me buy that game, Go buy GTA3, The original is better than the new one, Better yet, Go buy San Andreas, It's has a more wide approach to this game.
