Pros: tons of songs, lots of extras, improved 2 player mode, excellent selection of songs
Cons: may unintentionally draw your child away from real instruments.
The Bottom Line: One of the Best PS2 games to hit the market...Guitar Hero 2 is a must get.

Pros: Different from nearly anything else you've played!
Cons: Music isn't by the original artists, characters aren't very customizable.
The Bottom Line: It's a load of fun...different from nearly every other game I've played. Great track list keeps it fun!

Pros: Progressive difficulty, Star Power, large track list
Cons: Multiplayer not as well thought out as solo play.
The Bottom Line: If you find yourself air-guitaring to your favorite songs, GH2 may be right up your alley.

Pros: fun songs that are easy AND difficult, Avenged Sevenfold's "Beast and the Harlot"
Cons: getting angry and bashing your controller against the wall
The Bottom Line: It's better than DDR, AND you can play some of music's greatest. Get it, play it, breathe it.

Pros: You can Finally Set the Air Guitar Down and learn some tabs...
Cons: You'll need to keep some Ben Gay handy for those finger cramps!
The Bottom Line: Go and Buy Guitar Hero II and two controllers so you, your family, and friends can rock together and spend some seriously fun quality time together.

Pros: Tremendous fun. Long game play and all ages can enjoy.
Cons: Guitar controls are costly.
The Bottom Line: Guitar Hero 2 is fun for the whole family. You can get up and truly rock out. Don't sit around, get up and jam like a rock hero.

Pros: Tons of songs, great multiplayer, fun, easy to learn, practice mode
Cons: Some death metal is grating, mainly covers of originals, will eat up your free time
The Bottom Line: Invest in a guitar or two and buy this game! It's one of the most entertaining game/peripheral combos I've seen on the system.

Cons: Highly addictive. May be difficult to use for small children.

Pros: Great songs. Good challenge. Fast paced.
Cons: No cons. Awesome game.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this game because it is great for all ages, fun and very hard to get bored with.
