All-in-One Small Office / Home
Pros: Network Printing
Easy browser interface
Cons: Setup could be easier, learn as you go along Full review I purchased this about 6 months ago, so far this has been a great purchase. I have the xi version of it from Costco, it is wired network capable. We run a mixed environment of PC's (Windows 2k, XP, Vista), I have had a very easy time setting it up. One word of caution I would give it is set up a static IP address. This is one of the lessons that you learn as you go along. I felt they could have given more discussion on this in the documentation. I have used the Fax and Scanning function. One thing that is very nice is the ability to scan from the network. That is nice because you don't have to install any software just point your browser to the printer and scan it opens another window with your picture so you just save as. Printing is very nice, I use the "economical / fast" printing default for all PC's and it makes the ink last forever and is very fast. One of the problems I have with HP is they rev their printers so fast. I bought and was already behind, but with Costco price didn't feel taken at all. All-in-All great printer for the price for a small network set up with home and business printing. |
