A great little starter or business desktop for the money asked.

Pros: Excellent match up of Processor and Ram. Excellent computer for business applications.
Cons: Low quality video card. Gives Vista a graphic rating of 2.5

The bottom line: Excellent machine for Home or Business applications. NOT a machine to buy for a Gamer

This is a great system for the first timer.
Unbox it and boot it up for the experience that Vista Home will give you! Stunning graphical experience. It comes with 2 gigs of DDR Ram to backup the 2.6 processor. With Vistas rating system, every part of this computer rates in at a 5 Except the Video!
Expect a rating of 2 to 3 for the video.

The video is Nvidia chipset BUT its only a 6150 which will bottleneck Vista in a crunch. Play games? Don't count on it. The 6150 has a memory bandwidth of 4 gigs a second. Most games produced in the last few years require 14 gigs a second and much better.
Don't be discouraged, it will handle all your games that come with it such as Solitaire and Freecell. But as far Warcraft, Crysis, or any other FPS reliant game. Its a no go!
If buying this for a child or for yourself to play games on, then you will want to upgrade the Video Card. If you purchase a Nvidia card, stay away from anything that has "LE, SE, GS, LS" after the model number. Those are all low end cards that average 4 gigs a second memory bandwidth which is what you have now. Accessing the bios is quite easy and turning off the on board video in the bios is just a matter of choosing which slot to initialize during boot process. Now if what I just said was baffling. Then stay away from this machine as the bios is nothing to play around in.
Overall, I rate this machine for the beginner or the one that wants a great and fast machine to do calculations on for running business applications. Office and Vista run quite well on this machine as I feel it will with any type of business applications.
