Pros: Excellent DVD playback. good CD read/ audio extraction performance, low price, PowerDVD XP
Cons: Almost no hard copy documentation

Pros: Smart-X, reliable, excellent price,and fast.
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: This is the best dvd drive out there for the money. The performance is excellent and it is well built. Everyone should have one of these in their computer.

Pros: Awesome drive! Fast, Quiet, Reliable, Good bang for your buck...
Cons: Picky installation, illiterate person wrote the manual...
The Bottom Line: I love this drive!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a newer/faster DVD-ROM drive. In my epinion, Lite-On has proven themselves to be a quality manufacturer.=)

Pros: It's fast (8X-15X DVD rip) It's cheap, it's black.
Cons: Mushy Front Buttons? I guess that's all I can come up with.
The Bottom Line: I think this is the biggest BANG for the DVD ripping Buck! 15.5X DVD Rip? YES!

Pros: FAST, inexpensive, comes with full retail version of CyberLink's PowerDVD
Cons: Noisy, little documentation
The Bottom Line: If you rip music and watch DVDs, this is the only drive to get!

Pros: The eject door does works. Comes in Black.
Cons: Who is Liteon? Loud, may support DVD R/RW. Froze system 4-5x during DVD movie.
The Bottom Line: Skip this drive-- look for better bang for your money in name brands.
