Pros: Just about everything
Cons: Those damn birds!!!!!
The Bottom Line: If you like 3rd person adventure games like Darkcloud (PS2) or Midevil (PSone) then this is a great game for you.

Pros: Great gameplay, classic storyline, wonderful sound and graphics
Cons: Camera can be a bit annoying at times. It's a tough game!
The Bottom Line: Maximo is a fun "flashback" game, transporting you to your mom's living room, but with incredible updated PS2 gameplay, sound and graphics

Pros: Smooth graphics, decent sound and graphics, the boxers
Cons: Little variety
The Bottom Line: One day, I'd like to see a game in which you play a princess who gets impatient and tries to escape without any help from the hero.

Pros: Nice graphics
Cons: Crappy controls, save game feature stinks, too frustrating overall
The Bottom Line: With better controls, better A.I., and a better save game system, this could have been a much more fun game.

Pros: Nice revival of Platformer games, seeing Maximo in boxers is great
Cons: Graphics, Sound, Camera Angles, Repetitive, Pretty Unforgiving
The Bottom Line: It's sad, it had a good developer, but Maximo turns out to be a dull repetitive game that is truly disappointing.

Pros: Combat modes, animation
Cons: Save feature, or essential lack thereof. Overly repetitive levels that lack any real theme.
The Bottom Line: I label this a "rent first" game. Obviously some people enjoy it. If you are one of them, I'll sell you my copy...CHEAP
