Just started using Bluetooth for first time with a new cell phone with many features.

This Hs850 is paired with a Nokia 6265i.

Overall, I like the wireless feature. Seems to work well.

Security for Bluetooth - I 'did' turn on the cell phone hidden feature.
Although the range is approx 30 feet, I would rather others not hack into my unit.
In a rural setting, it’s highly unlikely, but in a large city, well…

Battery life seems good - HS850 has never died during my 10-12 hour drives. If it did die, I have no way of recharging it didn't come with a car charger.

I use this when driving. Sound quality is good. Per my lovely wife - Mic works well in vehicle with windows up. First call was to her and she didn't notice any difference from just the cell mic. Other places other than car used - none.

For safe driving - this type of item is the best as it's hands-free. If you don't get this HS850, please get a hands-free device as your life expectancy will dramatically increase.

Bought this Hs850 spur-of-the-moment for $40 at Costco.

Doesn't sit on ear well. I bent the ear piece and it's much better now. Wish the ear hook was longer and wrapped under the ear

Easy to lose, wish it had a necklace in case it falls off.

Storage pouch - none.

Volume - mine is set on maximum which works well.

HS850 volume buttons - very small, almost hidden on the Hs850.

Directions to get-connected were a bit confusing:
"Pair your Headset" Step3-3 Reads: 'Press and hold the call button.'
Maybe they should change it to 'On the HS850, Press and hold the call button.
-or- Press and hold the call button on the HS850.
This minor change will help people like me as I kept pressing the 'call' button on my cell phone which I now know is the wrong 'call' button.
I almost gave up, tried the HS850 call button as a last resort which worked.

I've only been using this item for 3 days, so unsure of long range quality e.g., battery life, breakage, etc.

Good luck.
