Containment at it's finest!

Pros: comfortable, sturdy, adjustable, seats are reversible
Cons: very long, and tips if weight not distributed evenly

We bought this stroller just after the birth of our third daughter. At the time our other 2 daughters were 1 and 2 years old. This stroller made many trips to the mall, zoo, parks, etc. And was a lifesaver because our oldest was a wanderer and our third was rather heavy!

The Triplette is designed to be comfortable for any age up to about 45 pounds. The seats can be reversed to all face backwards. All seats have 3 positions, as well as adjustable feet rests. Canopies for each individual seat are great for the park or zoo. Removable front seat bars make it easy for the bigger child to get in and out. The unique seat belt is easier to use than most and prevent you from "forgetting" to use the between the legs portion of the seat belt. This stroller has large wheels than go well on most surfaces.

The only disadvantages to this stroller are it's size and weight distribution of children. This stroller is very long and does not turn on a dime! To transport the Triplette you either have to have a very large cargo area or take the seats off and fold the frame down. Even folded down it takes up the whole cargo area of a Ford Aerostar and Plymouth Grand Voyager.

The other problem you might experience is if you have 3 "stair step" children, you will probably want the youngest in the back closest to you, and the oldest up front so they can have the best view and it is easiest for them to get in and out. But with this set up you are likely to experience tipping. The heaviest child in the front and the littlest in the back can be a problem, especially if the front child is "bouncy"!

There is a storage basket underneath the current models so you have a place for the diaper bag and purchases. Even with it's "problems" this is a great stroller! I could not have gotten by without it!
