UPDATED

To start off, when I play this game I feel every punch or kick coming my way and my fist knocking up against my opponents jaw, and I love it.

There is a new Game mode called General Manager mode, with this you are able to pick your superstars, trade them, or terminate them and put them through a big selection of gameplay and matches. You go through 5 matches 2 promos and a main event, you can start a rivaly, even send superstars to the other show to cause some trouble, but, beware! it can backfire and your superstar can get injured. There are two types of injury's minor- superstar can fight but be carefull, he can get a serious injury! Serious injury- the superstar can not fight and can be out for many weeks up to 16 or even 1 week just for flu like symptons!

You play against the other general manager or either RAW or Smackdown! as being a computer or another player. After every week or PPV you come to WWE.com on the game and shows the results as how many fans have changed to watch your show, your shows rating, and your current fans. More fans, the more merchandise and tickets can be sold resulting you with more money for better matches, new superstars, and better promos.

The online gameplay is awsome, with new and better chat areas with more match types and allowed CAWS in online gameplay. Only wish that voice could be added like there is in Xbox.

The Gameplay is extremely interactive. if you are clean and have the crowd with you, its easier to regain or gain potential momentum for your superstar, Dirty superstars, when they get the crowd against them they can also get a pretty good momentum boost.
All new weapons are also helpful to know as some are more brutal than others (ex.: 2 x 4 wrapped in barbwire).
You can do just about anything from attacking the ref, taking covers of ring posts, even fighting outside the ring and onto the announce tables!

The Graphics are the best part, as they almost look real my only complaint is CAWS (Create a WWE Superstar) graphics suck, I think they should try to make it look as graphic as like Kurt Angle, or The Undertaker.

I love that the online gameplay has way more matches then Smackdown! vs. Raw the original game has, the graphics are better, and it has better game features.

I hate that it also lost some great game features from the other Smackdown! games, and there are cheat codes for online and regular gameplay, I do not see why Yukes or the WWE allow that, especially in Online.

I bought this game to see what the hype was all about, and when I saw, I was once again in Awe as I allways am with Smackdown! games. Some New Match Types Include the following:

Buried alive- bury your opponent 6 feet deep to win.

Elimination chamber- eliminate all the oppoents, 2 opponents start out and 4 other wait in locked glass chambers until randomly selected to go in and fight for the win.

Bra and Panties match- Strip down your opponent to bra and panties for the victory.

Title match- fight for the right to call yourself a champion from the champion ship belts of World heavyweight, WWE, cruiserweight, womans, and some new unlockable belts, Million Dollar championship, Hardcore championship, and many more.

Note: You can also create a belt, PPV, or match.

I also recomend this game to WWE fans or wrestling fans, anyone who is either offended or doe not like wrestling Stay away.

In the story line you can take a superstar and put him through different storylines, each storyline depends on what you do and choose not to do.
Legends allowed. CAWS allowed.

The Roster is outdated a little compared to now, some big missing superstars would be: Matt Hardy, Boogeyman, Bobby Lashley, Vito, and some legends that the original game had like: Jimmy "superfly" snuka.

New songs were added from te original version, and they are. of course, great soundtracks, need great artists. Some artists you may hear from are Powerman 5000 making a return with a blast of songs from the original game. Breaking Benjamin break out their songs onto Smackdown! vs. RAW 2006.
Many great new and olds songs on this game jam-packed with artists, songs, and voice overs Sound is great.

There is now create a PPV or play one, and Create A Belt where you can design and challenge other superstars for this new belt, now only if it would be allowed to be used in GM mode.
