Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is undoubtedly one of the best games on the market today. The sheer entertainment, replay value, attention to detail, and the enticing game play make this a best buy for any gamer.
The best part about GTA:SA is that it offers one of the biggest gaming worlds in any game. It spans three different cities, San Fiero, Las Venturas, and Los Santos. Each city is a meticulously crafted replica of their respective real-world cities. In these game worlds, there are infinte possibilities. Everything from stealing cars, buying weapons, gambling, and even shopping. The radio stations offered through the car stereo range from country to rap. The radio also features hilarious politically incorrect humor. Rockstar outdid themselves yet again in creating a larger than life gaming universe.
GTA:SA delivers some of the most fun missions ever provided in a game. There is a different range of scenarios, including driving, burglary, flying, and drive-bys. The game is never dull, for there are plot twists which throw the gamer off balance. The intermittent storyline is very engaging, and unlike some games, actually is worth watching. There are also hidden easter eggs abound, and can be unlocked upon completing certain missions.
Like other GTA games, San Andreas contains very edgy missions that involve sex, drugs, and misdemeandors. This is not a game for everyone. Especially if you have the hot coffee version, which I did.
Rockstar not only created a stellar product, they also have set the bar with how a video game should be. This is one of the few games which you can play for years and still find it original and compelling.
