Pros: XP Pro is very stable, runs games well, has good built in features.
Cons: Still does not allow the control that Linux does, but is less hard to run.

Pros: easier to install than linux, newest OS
Cons: BLOATED. Lots of eyecandy. Performance is hurt by both.
The Bottom Line: Well until a newer Windows OS comes out we are pretty much stuck with this one. I have seen worse OS (ME comes to mind) easier to install than Linux

Pros: Better security than other Microsoft operating systems.
Cons: Bloated, you need a fast machine with lots of memory. Some machines can't handle it.

Pros: very secure, highly capable, stable
Cons: product activation, program too large, requires too much RAM, expensive, one install/machine
The Bottom Line: Windows XP SP-2 has many useful features; it is quite secure on the internet or network group. But it's expensive and large, requiring expensive hardware for a smooth performance.
