Pros Solid build, nice display, good ergonomics and form factor.
Cons Expensive, non-powered USB connection for backups.
Recommended it? Yes

I'm heading to Europe soon and I didn't want to lug my laptop. So I bought a P-5000 to backup photos from my Nikon D200. I've had good experiences so far with Creative products and the Zen X-Fi did not disappoint.

Creative in recent times have put their foot off the accelerator with their last "big thing" being the Zen Vision:M.

I ordered this product from Amazon.com since there are no stores that carry the item and Creative Labs do not sell directly.  After waiting more than a week (free super saver shipping takes that long) I finally recieve the media player and discover that it is completely dead.
