Pros 512Kb cache size, hyperthreading
Cons Low clock speed affects peak performance
Recommended it? No

Several years ago, I purchased two of these Pentium 4 2400 Mhz processors and some Intel D865GLC motherboards to completed a POV Ray animation.  At the time, these processors were the fastest hyperthreading capable products on the market and were a big boost to the performance of my animation... Pros Fast, reliable, and easy to install.
Cons No thermal cement!

Pros Very fast and cheap
Cons No transparent or glow in the dark version available.
Recommended it? Yes

Not the fastest, but definitely the best. Of course I won't count expensive special-purpose processors or any of that. Usually when some company releases a new line of processors they go out of their way to create immense hype, then when they finally release the product it is dead expensive. This... Pros Very Fast, Affordable, Great Overclocker, works well in vista
Cons Cpu prices drop, Runs very hot, Original fan is bad
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this on Ebay for approximately $155 brand new with the heatsink/retail fan.

Intel came out with a duo core 2 processor. The processor is not like the old intel pentium chip, because these run as 2 processors built into one. What this does is making your programs run quite a... Read full review »
