Pros Excellent Picture Quality, Bright Screen, Simple Setup

I had struggled with my old monitor for way too long out of some misplaced notion that all monitors are basically the same. My Samsung P2370HD monitor is much sharper than my old monitor, and it is about fifty percent bigger, which means a lot less strain on my eyes and even on my brain.

Great picture, terrible setup, deceptive marketing

Pros Fantastic picture.
Cons Difficult setup, tilt not adjustable, screen smaller than advertised.
Recommended it? No

To start with, although this is advertised as a 22" monitor, it is actually 21.5" by my measurement. It even says 21.5" on the box!  The extra half inch doesn't matter to me a lot, but the deceptive marketing does not build confidence.

I purchased this monitor to replace two bulky, aging, power-hungry CRT displays and am very pleased with it. The widescreen 1920x1080 resolution easily takes the place of two CRT screens. The generous desktop space and sharp display is a pleasure to use.
